I am sitting, writing this text in November Adler.
Yesterday there was a storm at sea, clouds, wind - uhh, I think winter has come. The next day I go out in a jacket, and it's summer outside! Just put on a dress and sandals!

He is ambiguous, this Adler in November - as well as reviews about the rest and the weather ... But it is definitely the best place in Russia in the fall. While the rest of the regions bloom with slush, gloom and rain, here is the sun, palm trees and snow-capped mountaintops on the horizon.

Weather in November in Adler and Sochi

Note: in Sochi, just like in Adler - there are only 30 km between them.

First rulehow to navigate in such a changeable phenomenon as the weather in Adler in November: never believe the weather reports and not cancel the trip because of "oh my God, look, continuous rains!" In the first week of November in 2020, showers were promised every day, and what is the result? For a couple of days it rained like a bucket, but only after sunset - the sun was shining during the day. The number of rainy days here does not exceed three or four at all.

It is interesting that a few hours before the downpour everything literally "breathes" rain. And it's not about the clouds. Humidity spikes, to the point where water droplets cover the bike rails and seats.

Beaches have been closed since November, but this does not mean that incredible sunsets cannot be seen on the shore.

Second rule: do not be intimidated by the projected +18 on the street. From the outside it seems that it is cold, but the sun warms so decently that you want to undress to a T-shirt. The velvet season has already passed, but the warmth remains.

Third rule: do not be fooled by the heat of the day, and always take a warm thing for the evening! It gets noticeably colder at night, the temperature simultaneously drops to + 10 ... + 12 after sunset.

Do they swim in Adler in November? Of course, you will see naked bodies in the Black Sea. But will you repeat it? :) The water temperature in November drops to +19, and this is below the lowest limit of comfortable swimming. In addition, the beaches are closed - lifeguards and sun loungers leave their posts on November 1, and vacationers use the coast mainly to contemplate the sea and sunsets.

Water and air temperature

I repeat that this is very average - as befits a weather forecast. In fact, in November there are more than ten days when it is above + 20 ° С outside, less than five rainy days and about twenty totally sunny days. By the way, that year the snow in the mountains fell at the very beginning of November!

Prices for tours to Adler in November - 2021

In November last year, there was an action from Rostourism "Get a 20% cashback for a tour in Russia" - which you have probably heard about. Moreover, not only in the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory, but also in St. Petersburg, for example. There is every chance that it will repeat itself this year, we are waiting for the official statement!

The conditions are simple, and a vacation in Adler in November is just right: payment for the tour with a Mir card, purchase until December 5, 2020, and the trip itself until January 10, 2021. There are also mandatory nuances like registering a card, if interested, read here.

Personally, we buy tours online on aggregators (there are prices directly from tour operators), and it's great that they are included in the list of partners of the campaign from Rostourism, where you can book a tour and get cashback:

  • Travelata
  • Level.Travel

Another service - Onlinetours - differs in that there you can choose the option "only accommodation", without air tickets, and this will also be counted as a tour (note for those who want to fly on their own, because the booking does not support the offer).

How much does Adler cost in November for a package? Pleasantly inexpensive:

- Minimum tour for 7 nights costs 15,000 rubles for two.
- To direct a hotel-hotel and with good reviews - from 25,000 rubles for the same duration.
- Family voucher (mom, dad and child) - from 22,000 rubles.
- Tour to the hotel with 3 meals a day - from 30,000 rubles for 7 nights, and all-inclusive - from 70,000 rubles.
- Mountain Krasnaya Polyana is also available: tours to Esto-Sadok - from 20,000 rubles, and right next to the lift to Rosa Khutor - from 40,000 rubles.

These are the prices for flights from Moscow, but you can fly to Adler and Sochi in November from many cities of the Russian Federation. Indicate yours on the aggregators above to find out the exact cost.

Prices in November

Prices at the "Bakery" on the beach / Persimmon grows right on the street!

No matter how much you would like to earn extra money from tourists - and in 2021 there will be a lot of them in late autumn! - local businessmen lower prices in November. Accommodation, excursions, car rental, entertainment. In a word, for everything except food and catering.

Let's start with this. Products in Adler are sold nowhere else than in Pyaterochki, Magnets and Perekrestok. Nothing interesting. Moreover, the prices are plus or minus as in the regions, I went to buy for two or three days - I left a thousand rubles:

  • Bananas, 1 kg - 50 rubles
  • Eggs, 10 pcs - 40-60 rubles
  • Potatoes, 1 kg — 30–40 rubles
  • A pack of dumplings - 120-200 rubles
  • Almette cottage cheese, 150 gr - 120 rubles
  • Avocado, 1 kg - 390 rubles
  • Lavash - 50 rubles
  • Water, 5l - 40-70 rubles

On the markets in November is the season of persimmons (80 rubles per kg), pomegranates (80 rubles), Abkhaz tangerines (70 rubles) and churchkhela (well, this is eternal), even figs can be found somewhere (250 rubles). There are also sweet tomatoes (150 rubles per kg), much better than in stores.

The average check in the dining room per person: 200-300 rubles, there are plenty of them here.
Average bill in a cafe-restaurant: from 300 rubles to infinity (you never know, suddenly you go to the Novikov Cheese Factory :)).

I do not analyze in detail the food costs, because on our site we already have a wonderful article about prices in Adler - you can be credited and counted.

Where are we staying in Adler? + selection of hotels

Our rented apartment for a month

I conventionally divide Adler into 3 parts:

  • Nizhneimeretinskaya Bay - all tourists come here, it is noisy and lively here all year round, you can stay in a hotel, or you can rent accommodation in the private sector (two-, three-story houses).
  • The area of the Imeretinsky port to the Mzymta river is quieter and quieter here, tourists are mostly independent, multi-storey residential complexes with apartments for rent prevail.
  • The area after the bridge over the Mzymta River is half tourist, half "local", on this side there are many large shops and municipal institutions.

We stopped in the second, near the Southern Cultures Park. We found an apartment next to the places we needed (a coffee shop to sit to write this and other texts, large grocery and the sea nearby) and decided to spend November here.

Apartments and the private sector. If during the season (June – September) housing in Adler in high-rise buildings and houses is unrealistic to rent for less than 3,500–5,000 rubles per day, then in the off-season (October – May) the same studios, one-room apartments and houses cost 1,500–2,000 rubles per day. day.
Where to look? Daily.ru or Airbnb.

Hotels. They are also getting cheaper, and a vivid example of this is the pricing for the two most famous hotels in Adler:

- 4 * Imeretinsky - a modern hotel with spacious rooms and excellent service (this is rarely seen in Adler). The large outdoor pool at the hotel is heated in cold weather, and for November this is a plus - it compensates for the distant location of the beach. There is a frequent shuttle to the sea.
Price in November: from 3800 rubles per day; price per season: from 7000 rubles

- 5 * Radisson Collection Paradise Resort & Spa - "Turkish" hotel in Adler with a huge private area, animation for children, palm trees and sand on the beach (but not golden and not at the entrance to the sea). True, without "all inclusive" - but the range of food for breakfast and dinner includes red caviar. Heated pool, spa - everything with it.
Price in November: from 9,700 rubles per day; price per season: from 14,500 rubles

If without "expensive-rich" and champagne, then the following hotels are quite good, popular and cost adequate:

  • 3 * Grace Cypress is a pleasant front line option with a heated pool. Yes, in Adler's style - not a hotel, but rather a guest complex with a slight touch of southern luxury. But there is an option of 3 meals a day with a buffet.
Price in November: from 1600 rubles per day; price per season: from 7500 rubles
  • 3 * Apart-hotel Imeretinsky (Coastal Quarter) is a closed residential complex that shares the territory with the Imeretinsky hotel from the list above. A lot of families with children live here - there are both typical hotel rooms and apartments with a kitchen. It is located in a quiet part of Adler, far from the beach, but a free shuttle service takes you to the sea.
Price in November: from 3200 rubles per day; price per season: from 5000 rubles
  • 4 * Apart-hotel Imeretinsky (Marine Quarter) is another complex built for the Olympics and belonging to the Imeretinsky chain, only basic rooms - twice the “three-ruble note” and with an equipped kitchen and a washing machine. There is a heated pool and a shuttle to the beach too.
Price in November: from 4700 rubles per day; price per season: from 6000 rubles

Where to look for hotels? If you are driving on your own, then on the RoomGuru or Booking services. If by tour, then on Travelata.

What to see in Adler in autumn?

Huge waves happen in Adler in November

You can see everything in Adler in November as in any other month. Nothing is closed, all sights are waiting for tourists all year round.

Where to go first if you're new to here:

  • Olympic Park and all its facilities - take a walk, see the evening Singing Fountains (in November they sing from 18:00 to 19:00).
  • The embankment for pedestrians and with a bicycle path stretches from the border with Abkhazia to the Imereti port.
  • Amusement Park Sochi Park - attractions, loops, performances, fun for everyone.
From November 9 tickets - 1500 rubles per adult, 1300 rubles per child
  • Sochi Autodrom - Formula 1 races are held here.
Take a ride in a racing taxi - from 3500 rubles
  • Park-arboretum "Southern Cultures" - thickets of bamboo and very mature trees.
Tickets - 300 rubles in the afternoon, evening performance - 600 rubles

In November, we saw the following events: the First November Sochi Marathon (called Sochi, but held in Adler) and the Sochi Sirius Music Festival (tickets from 400 rubles).

This time we did not go anywhere from the above, except for the embankment. We have fun in our own way: we ride bicycles (2 rubles per minute) or scooters (3-5 rubles per minute), see off the sunsets on the shore, sit on a swing and watch the sea - in general, swings are, of course, paid, but in November for them there is no one to follow.

Oh, here's more of the activities: a yacht trip! In the Imereti port, you can take a boat with a captain from 7500 rubles per hour for a company of 6-7 people.

Excursions in Adler

This is me at the top of Rosa Khutor - Stone Pillar. Somewhere you can already see the snow!

There is no such person who would not get it with offers of excursions on the street in Adler. Even in November.

The local top 3 sightseeing trips are as follows:

  • Abkhazia - from 1600 rubles per person
  • Krasnaya Polyana - from 800 rubles per person, but the ascent to Rosa Khutor is not included here
  • Overview of Sochi - from 1000 rubles per person
  • Boat trips - from 1500 rubles per person

You can take it from your aunt on the street - there are the most standard excursions on buses and in groups. You can overpay a little and take on the Tripster ↓ service - with an individual program and only for your company / family:

Another option for the same excursions is to use public transport or rent a car and drive everywhere on your own. Except for a boat trip, of course.

As for car rental: before my arrival, I saw that there is a car sharing service from Yandex in Sochi and Adler. On the spot, it turned out that he does not work like in Moscow or Kazan - you can take a car for a period of 2 days (it costs about 5000 rubles + mileage). Not very profitable, so the good old car rental service Myrentacar wins again.

Watch a video on our YouTube channel about an independent trip to Rosa Khutor (how to buy a ticket cheaper and what to watch):

Holidays with children in November

Oh-oh-oh, if you knew how many families in Adler in November with children - both old and young ... An ideal environment for new acquaintances and friends.

But if they come with older children on school holidays, then with preschoolers they spend the winter. Housing is inexpensive off-season (you can find an apartment for 25-35 thousand rubles a month), the climate is pleasant, the shops are familiar. Add a long embankment, along which it is so good to walk a child in a stroller or on a scooter, a pebble beach where pebbles can be collected-not-re-collected, and the sea - and you will get a place that compares favorably with other Russian cities.

At least for children, playgrounds are laid out along the embankment. As a maximum and the crown of childish fun - the Sochi Park amusement park is open.
You can book a hotel or an apartment with "movement" on the territory (like a heated pool or a kids club) and just relax, choose >>

And I want to warn you, be careful with the children on the embankment. There are two zones: a pedestrian and a bicycle path. They are not made according to the mind, you can easily get confused or not pay attention, and find yourself in the path of a dense stream of bicycles, scooters and electric cars.

Should you go to Adler or Sochi in November? My experience and reviews of tourists

See how people are dressed in November

Yes! It's so good here that my mood from the typical November Kazan "not so" turned into a daily "hello, new day, you will be cool!" I blame the sun for this, or rather, its overabundance.
I believe that my text will replace any reviews of tourists about Adler in November - after all, I am writing it, spending this whole November here.

What to take with you from your clothes? The optimal set: several T-shirts, jeans, a sweatshirt, sneakers. But you can bring a whole suitcase with you - in principle, the weather here is for any "bow", except for the winter one :) Here is the photo above, look at what people wear in November.

Pros and cons of rest

+ Great weather for walking and breathing the sea air
+ Stormy sea - very beautiful and exciting
+ Sun, sun and more sun
+ Cheap flights - see Aviasales
+ Cheap Tours - See on Travelata
+ Housing in Adler in November is two times lower compared to the summer season, you can even rent for a long time
+ Cheaper and tickets to Sochi Park
+ Less tourists - more space
+ Snow falls in the mountains

- You won't be able to swim, the sea in Adler in November not only storms, but also freezes
- Some establishments are closed, but this concerns the embankment
- There are cool, nasty days in the spirit of St. Petersburg (only 3-4 for the whole month, but I have to warn you)
