In the 1990s, in Rostov-on-Don, despite the difficult times, they began to actively restore and build churches. And over the past 20-25 years, many churches have been opened. In the city, churches have been restored and continue to be restored, which were completely destroyed or were in a deplorable state during the Soviet era. Some of them have been renovated. But there are some that have been rebuilt. Unfortunately, not all churches can be restored, as some of them are already replaced by other buildings.

But now there are many churches in Rostov-on-Don, which are projects of modern architects and were built quite recently. I am very glad that churches are being built at educational institutions and hospitals. Now in the city you can see both large cathedrals and very small churches, which are located in small one-story houses. This shows the spiritual revival of the nation.
